Daily Dig: 7/28/20

Scripture: Esther 7 and 8

Faith in action.  Esther made a plan to save her people.  She set things up so she could reveal the truth to the king at just the right time. Her plan was successful.

Her plan was successful because it lined up with what the Lord had called her to do.

Then Mordecai was given freedom to write to the Jews in the name of the king. He could write whatever he wanted in order to save them. He wrote that they should defend themselves.

They rejoiced! And people feared them and joined with them. It was a good day to be a Jew. It’s always a good day when you’re where the Lord wants you.

Journal: Write a prayer and ask God if there’s any change you need to make in your life…with your job, your location, your attitude. Is there any step of faith you need to take today?

Move: Run hills again today! For 12-15 minutes, run up and down any hill of your choosing.

{Beginner’s run #19: Walk 5 minutes to warm-up, then run 8 minute/walk 1 minute x4, then walk 5 minutes to cool-down.}

Praise the Lord, and just show up.

  1. I love Esther’s story!!!! She also broke the rules in order to do what was right before the Lord. Some could call her rebellious or too daring or acting like she knows better, therefore proud. But she was acting in faith and according to the purpose that God laid on her heart. Sometimes, is ok to break men set rules and obey God before men. Love your post, Katie! ❤️❤️
