Scripture: Psalm 70

But I am poor and needy;  hasten to me, O God! You are my help and my deliverer; O Lord , do not delay!

If you don’t think you’re “poor and needy”, you’re wrong. We’re all in need of a Savior. He gives us salvation: the richest of riches we could ever desire. Seek Him and be glad.


Journal: Write a prayer and thank the Lord for all His provisions…spiritual and physical.


Move: Legs and Abs dumbbel workout. 3 sets of 20 reps each:

  • Alternating forward lunges
  • Stability ball hamstring curls
  • Single leg squats
  • Jump squats
  • Hip thrusts
  • Calf raises
  • Stability ball crunches
  • Stability ball ab roll-out

Praise the Lord, and just show up.

Daily Dig: 10/27/20

Scripture: Job 42

Job never got an explanation for why all those bad things happened to Him. When he came through to the other side he could only reaffirm that God was in control. That’s a hard truth for many, but if you can truly submit to the sovereignty of God you gain a new perspective on the troubles of the world. Hold your life, your family, and your possessions with an open hand to God.


Journal: Write a prayer to God thanking Him for all your blessings and pray that you will remember that He holds it all in His hand.


Move: Run 3-5 miles.

{Beginner’s run #10: Walk 5 minutes to warm-up, then run 5 minute/walk 1 minute x5, then walk 5 minutes to cool-down.}


Praise the Lord, and just show up.

Scripture: Psalm 69

When you’re at your lowest-of-low point don’t give up on prayer:

13 But as for me, my prayer is to you, O LORD. At an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness.

Don’t give up on prayer, don’t give up on God’s love, don’t give up on God’s salvation.

Continue moving forward in thanksgiving.

Praise Him for what He’s done and what He’s going to do.

34 Let heaven and earth praise him,the seas and everything that moves in them.

Journal: Write a prayer of thanksgiving to God.
