Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5
2 For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night…
11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
Live in peace with one another:
- Admonish the idle
- Encourage the fainthearted
- Help the weak
- Be patient with them all

Are you bold or fainthearted?
Matthew 26:41 – “Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Luke 22:32 – “…but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.”
- Rejoice always
- Pray without ceasing
- Give thanks in all circumstances
“Hold fast what is good”
23 Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.
Journal: Write a prayer of thanksgiving…you can’t do this often enough.
Move: Thursday is hill or interval day. Just break up a normal run with bursts up a hill or speedy segments between mailboxes. Get creative.
{Beginner’s run #8: Walk 5 minutes to warm-up, then run 4 minutes/walk 1 minute x4, then walk 5 minutes to cool-down.}
Praise the Lord, and just show up.
