Scripture: Galatians 2

And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.

Gal. 2:20-21

There’s always a going-back-and-forth of believers trying to find the right balance between living free in grace, but still obeying God’s word, yet not thinking that our works will save us, but also producing fruit that testifies to our salvation.

We even see in this chapter that Peter gets in trouble again for trying to not upset the Jews but still live like a Gentile. I can relate to that…I sometimes find myself doing things that I would NOT want people at church to know about! How embarrassing!

If we owned Christ’s crucifixion as Paul does, and just let Christ live through us, all these problems would work themselves out.

Let Christ do the work.

Journal: Write a prayer of thanksgiving for Christ’s crucifixion and also a prayer that you would own it; and let Christ live through you.

Move: I’m doing the Run for Hope 5k here in Covington this morning. Maybe you’re doing a 5k if your own! 5k races are a fun way to spend Saturday mornings and get a new t-shirt!😊

{Beginner’s run #3: Walk 5 minutes to warm-up, then run 3 minute/walk 1 minute x4, then walk 5 minutes to cool-down.}

Praise the Lord, and keep showing up.
