Scripture: Psalm 62

Once God has spoken; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God, and that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love. For you will render to a man according to his work.

Psalm 62:11‭-‬12

Power and love belong to God. That’s all we need to know. Money and status will always return voidfake power, fake love.

Wait for God. Hope in Him.

Scripture: Hebrews 10

Jesus is our confidence.

He made a way for us to stand before God.

19 Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus, 20 by the new and living way that he opened for us through the curtain, that is, through his flesh, 21 and since we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

Therefore, let us hold fast to hope, because…

Jesus made a way. He also gave us one another. We form the body of Christ and should help each other along the way so that no one gives up hope.

Meet together. Encourage one another. Find a way to make it happen.

Don’t throw away the confidence we have in Jesus. Fight fear and discouragement together.

We need to persevere and we need to remind each other why we’re running this race. It’s long and tiring, but it’s worth it!

There is an end goal. There is a reward.

Jesus will come back. We have eternity with Him to look forward to. Keep holding on to faith and hold on to confidence in Christ alone.

Scripture: Psalm 57

The Lord doesn’t expect us to never fear, or never doubt, or always be “on point”.

He is merciful.

All He wants us to do is keeping coming back to Him. He is a steadfast shelter for our souls.

Journal: Give thanks to God for His mercy.
