Scripture: Psalm 51

“A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet went to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.”

David needed a do-over.

Haven’t we all needed a do-over at one time or another?

This Psalm is a powerful prayer of renewal: for mercy, forgiveness, cleansing, and restoration.

God provides these things. Just ask.

Scripture: Psalm 50

…and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.”

Psalm 50:15

Two things the Lord undoubtedly wants from us:

  1. He wants us to give Him our thanks.
  2. He wants us to ask Him for help.

That’s worship.

Scripture: Psalm 49

Why should I fear in times of trouble, when the iniquity of those who cheat me surrounds me, those who trust in their wealth and boast of the abundance of their riches? Truly no man can ransom another, or give to God the price of his life, for the ransom of their life is costly and can never suffice, that he should live on forever and never see the pit.

Psalm 49:5‭-‬9

Don’t fear man; don’t fear hard times.

God is our salvation. Salvation cannot be bought, and we cannot attain salvation for someone else.

Salvation is personal, and it’s a matter of eternity.

Trust God. Pray for wisdom. If you haven’t already, pray for salvation through Jesus Christ.
