Scripture: Psalm 54

Pray to God:

O God, hear my prayer;

give ear to the words of my mouth.

Give thanks to Him always:

I will give thanks to your name, O LORD, for it is good.

He is our Helper, Upholder, Sustainer.

He is Good.

Scripture: Psalm 53

2 God looks down from heaven on the children of man to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. 3 They have all fallen away; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one.

Even when it seems that everyone has turned from God we can rest assured that He has not turned from us. Salvation has come out of Zion by way of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. He will return. Don’t be fooled.

Journal: Write a prayer asking for salvation for the unbelieving.

Scripture: John 20:19-31

Thomas wouldn’t believe Jesus had been resurrected until he saw the wounds in His hands and side for himself.

Jesus knew this about him. He showed him the wounds and Thomas believed.

And then there was a gentle rebuke:

“Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Let us be among the blessed for believing without seeing. Hold on to hope:

For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

Romans 8:24-25

Journal: If you have doubts, write a prayer asking the Lord to help your unbelief. He already knows.
