Scripture: Genesis 12

God said go. So Abram went.

Don’t you wonder what that was like? Don’t you wish it was always so cut and dry?

Life’s messy though, and even for Abram who exemplifies such bold faith things didn’t always go smoothly…just read the rest of the chapter.

Bottom line: God’s got a plan. Even if we think we’ve screwed it up.

Journal: Write a prayer thanking God that you can’t screw up His plan.

Move: Run. 3 miles.

Scripture: Psalm 100

Just because the “month of Thanksgiving” is over doesn’t mean that our thanksgiving goes on hold.

Make a joyful noise to Him everyday! All year long!

Make a joyful noise to the Lord , all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!

Know that the Lord , he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Journal: Copy this psalm as a prayer of praise.

Move: For the remaining Mondays of the year I’m going to post either this pilates video or my glute/hip supplement video. They’re both great workouts to do on repeat and contain exercises that build a strong core and foundation for other workouts and life in general.

Praise the Lord, and just show up.

Scripture: Revelation 11

No matter what kind of crap you go through on this earth, if you’re one of God’s children you should be able to read the book of Revelations and find comfort.

Find comfort and be in awe of God’s overcoming power.

He deserves all our praise.

Journal: Write a prayer thanking God that He’s already written our happy ending.

Move: Rest, repeat, recover.

Run that 5k that you didn’t run yesterday. Every day is a new day to try again.

Praise the Lord, and just show up.
