Daily Dig: 12/5/20

Scripture: Exodus 12

The Lord said He would do it, and He did. That’s what the Lord does.

The exodus was a messy process from a human perspective, but it led to sacrificing the Passover lambs and deliverance from slavery in Egypt.

The story of Israel is messy, but it led to the Lamb of God being sacrificed for us and deliverance from our sins for eternity.

Life is messy, but it all leads to the glory of God in the end.

He provides the way. He is the Way.

Daily Dig: 7/25/20

Scripture: Exodus 7

It’s hard to understand why the Lord hardened Pharaoh’s heart. I’m sure it was painful for Moses to watch him turn and walk back into his house unmoved by the work of God.

So many living in the world today are having the same reaction to the wonders of God. They explain away his works or numb their souls to His calling. Don’t be hardened by the world! Let you heart be soft soil for the word of God.

Journal: Write a prayer asking God to keep your heart soft to His work around you and pray for those you know who have hardened their hearts to God.

Move: Long run day!

{Beginner’s run #18: Walk 5 minutes to warm-up, then run 8 minute/walk 1 minute x3, then walk 5 minutes to cool-down.}

Praise the Lord, and just show up.

Daily Dig: 5/5/20

Scripture: Exodus 5 and 6

Moses was sent with a charge to set the Israelites free from slavery.

Instead of relief though, they only receive harsher treatment.

Pharoah increases their burden and in turn crushes their spirit.

But God…

He never wavers, He never changes, He never has to go to “Plan B.”

He is a strong hand of hope, and the Lord of deliverance.

Journal: Write a prayer asking for deliverance from the slavery of sin for yourself or your family or friends.

Move: I think I’ll make a video of this one…subscribe to my YouTube channel or come like my fitness Facebook page so you know when it comes out.

Praise the Lord, and just show up.
