Today’s Devo:
@First5App @Proverbs31org “Be careful,” my husband cautioned as I slowly drove into the mountains. As the sun dropped lower into the sky, and the side of the mountain became less visible, my husband reminded me to stay alert. https://myf5.co/571775

Today’s Reading:
Day 24, pages 178-182
A podcast and movie collab:
I listened to this podcast and it was just ok…didn’t really agree with everything the author being interviewed said but at the end Emily always asks, “What’s your ‘next right thing’?” The lady said, “Lunch.”
Her point was that she was focusing on the present…she was going to have lunch with her daughter and that was what was important to her in that moment.
Later that day I watched A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood? for the first time. What stuck out to me was when Fred Rogers was first talking to Lloyd on the phone and he told him that talking to him, in that moment, was the most important thing to him.
I want to live like that…to give my utmost attention to the most important thing in the moment. Less distraction, more focus.

A Workout:
I just did the first 10 minutes of this flow this morning…enough to get the blood flowing:
And I have a house full of boys this morning…so pancakes 🥞:
