Silence the Doubts

Today’s Devo:

@First5App @Proverbs31org I’ll never forget the moment my daughter was placed in my arms. After months of waiting for the adoption to be finalized, I felt the wonderful but heavy responsibility of caring for her.

And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”

Exodus 14:13-14
  • Fear not.
  • Stand firm.
  • Be silent.

“Jesus said on the boat, “‘Peace! Be still! ‘ And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm” (Mark 4:39). God might not remove the storm, but He can provide peace in the midst of it. When you are lost in a sea of doubt, cling to Jesus, friend. He is at the helm of your boat. Jesus is calling us to fear not, stand firm and silence the doubts with faith.”
