Scripture: Romans 12
As believers we have to do things differently than the world…
Our lives should showcase the grace given us by God. We should use the gifts given us through this grace to build up the body of Christ. It’s not all about us as individuals; it’s about us loving others as we love ourselves.
Our foremost characteristics should be LOVE, JOY, PATIENCE, and PRAYERFULNESS.
These things come not by our own will but by the Spirit within us.
If we live this way there should be peace among us, however there will always be evil until Jesus returns. We must be prepared through God’s grace and through God’s Spirit to not answer evil with more evil.
Overcome evil with good.
Easier said than done sometimes, but nothing is impossible with God.
Journal: Write a prayer asking that God help you to live differently than the world.
Move: Long run. Run 1 hour.
