Scripture: Luke 9
There’s a lot in this chapter, but what I want to focus on is the different reactions to Jesus:
- The disciples: following and obeying Jesus.
- Herod: perplexed by Him.
- Crowds: following Him, accepting healing and food from Him, but unsure of Him:
“Who do the crowds say that I am?” 19 And they answered, “John the Baptist. But others say, Elijah, and others, that one of the prophets of old has risen.”
- Peter: sure of Him:
“But who do you say that I am?” And Peter answered, “The Christ of God.”
How do you respond to Jesus? How should you respond?

It’s a matter of life and death:

Journal: Write a prayer confessing Jesus as the Son of God and committing to follow Him.
