Scripture: Mark 9
Can you feel this guy’s pain?
His son is having something like seizures. He brought him to the disciples, but they couldn’t heal him. Jesus shows up, and in desperation the man says:
But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.
Jesus is incredulous that the man would say “if you can.”
“‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”
The father doubts no longer!
“I believe; help my unbelief!”
And Jesus rebuked the demon. The boy fell still, but the Lord took him by the hand and lifted him up.
The Lord has compassion on us. Even in our unbelief.
Journal: Write a prayer to God asking him to remove any seeds of unbelief in your heart and mind.
Move: Rest, repeat, recover.
