Scripture: Psalm 29
I enjoy the practice of giving thanks and continually finding something for which to be thankful as a habit to combat discontent and anxiety.
Another tool to fight these battles is to focus on the name of the Lord and His attributes of being all-powerful, all-present, and all-knowing.
This Psalm is full of characteristics of God that bring comfort in His “big-ness”.
1 Ascribe to the LORD, O heavenly beings, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. 2 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness.

10 The LORD sits enthroned over the flood; the LORD sits enthroned as king forever. 11 May the LORD give strength to his people! May the LORD bless his people with peace!
Journal: Write a prayer and thank the Lord for the comfort of his power, presence, and knowledge.
Move: Run day. Try a tempo run. Do a normal 3-5 mile run but add 10-12 minutes in the middle where you pick up the pace just out of your comfort zone.
{Beginner’s run #10: Walk 5 minutes to warm-up, then run 5 minute/walk 1 minute x5, then walk 5 minutes to cool-down.}
Praise the Lord, and just show up.
