Scripture: Ephesians 6
We are bondservants of Christ. Therefore, we should live to please Him, and not to please people.
Bondservants, obey your earthly masters with fear and trembling, with a sincere heart, as you would Christ, not by the way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man, knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a bondservant or is free.
Ephesians 6:5-8
This doesn’t sound too difficult but it’s a real war out there. And not always a war we can see, but a war of spiritual forces that drives so much of the confusion we see around us.
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:12
Thankfully we do not stand defenseless. We have the armor of God:

STAND FIRM!
And use these scriptures as a template to pray for those who are our spokesmen, and those who are on the streets, and those who have a public forum to speak the truth. Pray it for them as well as yourself:
Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God…
Ephesians 6:14-17
PRAY! Persevere. And pray again.
Journal: Write a prayer for all believers to stand firm in the truth, to live righteously, to be ready with the gospel, to keep their faith, to be covered in salvation, and to have the help of the Spirit to speak the Word in love.
