Scripture: Philippians 4

again I will say, rejoice.
(And be reasonable.)

but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
(Thankfulness is the paint brush of peace.)
And…

That is…
the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding…
This picture of peace is beyond our understanding, but not beyond our reach.

whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
(These thoughts are the paint.)

for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.
(Contentment is the canvas.)

Thankfulness, controlled thoughts, contentment… not by our own power but through His strength.

He supplies what we need.
He gives us the tools to paint a beautiful picture of peace with our lives, and He gives us the ability to do it.
We only have to put our hand in His hand.
Let Him guide your heart.
Let Him paint the picture.
Journal: Write a prayer asking for the “supplies” you need for peace. Write a list of things you’re thankful for. Ask the Lord to help you think on good things. Ask for contentment. Feeling artistic: paint your own picture of peace.

Praise the Lord, and keep showing up.
