Scripture: Ecclesiastes 4
We are created to live and work and BE alongside other humans. Though some of us do enjoy our alone time more than others there are still times when we need help or encouragement or just the presence of another person.
How does the work you do benefit others? Does it benefit others at all?
Don’t toil and strive after riches for no purpose. Share your skill, help the needy, and if one of your brothers falls reach out and help him up.
“For whom am I toiling and depriving myself of pleasure?” This also is vanity and an unhappy business. 9 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. 10 For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!
Journal: Write a prayer for someone in need and then write down a way you can help. Then do it.
