Scripture: Luke 4
Jesus came.
He lived as a man. He suffered as a man.
Jesus came to fulfill God’s plan.
He fulfilled the prophecies. He fulfilled the Law.
Jesus came to fulfill God’s plan and to proclaim salvation for mankind:
- He proclaims good news to the poor.
- He proclaims liberty to the captives and the oppressed.
- He proclaims recovery of sight to the blind.
- He proclaims the year of the Lord’s favor.
Jesus came for you.
Praise the Lord.
Journal: Write a prayer of praise to God.
Move: Take a rest.
