Scripture: 2 Corinthians 3
We as believers are a letter from Christ to the world…
written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
Vs. 3
The world needs to see our confidence. Not confidence in ourselves but in Christ alone.
Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God, 6 who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
Vs. 5 and 6
The world needs to see this life in us. They need to see the Spirit.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Vs. 17
The world needs this freedom. Freedom that has it’s foundation in the confidence that Christ is our Savior. The Spirit is our helper. We can rely on our God.
Let the world see that God is worthy of our confidence.
Journal: Write a prayer asking God for confidence in Him. Thank Him that you can rely on Him for all things.
