Scripture: Acts 19-21:16

Paul’s life is a picture of perseverance.
He was all in, all the time.
“You yourselves know how I lived among you the whole time from the first day that I set foot in Asia, 19 serving the Lord with all humility and with tears and with trials that happened to me through the plots of the Jews; 20 how I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable, and teaching you in public and from house to house, 21 testifying both to Jews and to Greeks of repentance toward God and of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Acts 20:18-21
When he gave his life to Christ, he REALLY gave it all! His only goal was to finish his course and complete the mission he received from Jesus.
The way we run our course will look different from how Paul ran his. Our run will not look the same as our neighbor’s.
If you ever see a group of runners notice that each person has a unique running form. They may all be running the same direction, but their arms swing a certain way, their hips might dip, their knees may knock, or their feet turn out. What they have in common: they’re all making progress.
In the same way, our lives will never look exactly like another believer’s, but as followers of Christ our goal should be the same.
Love others, share the gospel, and let His name be glorified in everything we do.
Finish the race.
Journal: Write a prayer for perseverance like Paul.
Move: Today, run 3 miles at a pace that you would hope to run a 10k race.
{Beginner’s run #11: Walk 5 minutes to warm-up, then run 5 minute/walk 1 minute x4, then walk 5 minutes to cool-down.} ***easier day***
Praise the Lord, and keep showing up.
Thank you, Katie, for sharing this Bible study and workouts. God knew in advance how helpful this would be in 2020 for us in quarantine! Keeping us/getting us into spiritual and physical shape! Not going back to the gym for a bit, so will start the workouts! God bless you and your sweet family. Y’all bless so many!

I agree with Ashley above, your posts have been such a blessing! ❤️❤️ This morning, had long list of emails, and didn’t see foundintheshade outright, I’m like: where is it?! 😅😂
Katie, I love this analogy that is so valuable to remember in these crazy times: everyone runs different, but all to the same goal. Some brothers and sisters in Christ would fret, some would be more prepared, some less, some could boast in their preparedness, some would feel inadequate that they didn’t see it coming and are not prepared.
I think it’s so important to not look down on the weaker ones and not to get puffed up if you’re ready to face these challenges. We’re all running to the same goal, we’re all of the same body, knit to work together for His Glory.🙌🏻🙌🏻
