Scripture: Joshua 3 and 4

Joshua and the tribes of Israel cross the Jordan River on dry land. As Joshua and the other leaders carefully follow the Lord’s instructions, God holds back the mighty waters until everyone has safely passed.

And then they set up stones of remembrance:

19 The people came up out of the Jordan on the tenth day of the first month, and they encamped at Gilgal on the east border of Jericho. 20 And those twelve stones, which they took out of the Jordan, Joshua set up at Gilgal. 21 And he said to the people of Israel, “When your children ask their fathers in times to come, ‘What do these stones mean?’ 22 then you shall let your children know, ‘Israel passed over this Jordan on dry ground.’ 23 For the LORD your God dried up the waters of the Jordan for you until you passed over, as the LORD your God did to the Red Sea, which he dried up for us until we passed over…

Joshua 4:19-23

The Lord is mighty. He is to be feared. And His acts are not to be forgotten. He wants us to tell our children, families, and others about the things He has done. You don’t have know all the answers you just have to tell about what God’s done in your life; or things you’ve witnessed in life that have pointed you to God; or about prayers that you’ve prayed that have been answered.

Talk about God. Don’t forget the things He’s done for you.

Journal: Write down things the Lord has done for you. Write down answers to prayers. Go back through old journals and remember what God has done.

Move: Either take a rest or makeup the run from yesterday.

{Beginner’s run #5: Walk 5 minutes to warm-up, then run 4 minute/walk 1 minute x4, then walk 5 minutes to cool-down.}

Praise the Lord, and keep showing up!
