Scripture: Psalm 3

We all have those days when we feel like the whole world is against us.
These are good days to shut off the Instagram and Facebook and focus more on prayer and worship.
- Read your Bible.
- Journal.
- Turn on worship music you really enjoy.
- PRAY!
The Lord is your shield…He will lift your head…He will sustain you.
Journal: Write down your worries, cover them in prayer.
Move: A run is also a good remedy to a hard day…and a good start to any day. Go run (or run/walk) a few prayerful miles.
{Beginner’s run #4: Walk 5 minutes to warm-up, then run 3 minute/walk 1 minute x5, then walk 5 minutes to cool-down.}
Praise the Lord, and keep showing up!
I have had some of those days in my life… But so did Paul in 2Tim 4:16 “ At my first defense no one came to stand by me, but all deserted me. May it not be charged against them. But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me…” I have found that redirecting my thoughts on praying and serving others in the body is the best remedy to our own heartache. Sometimes it might be overwhelming to even look at your own situation and pray about it or you’ll break. I have had those moments when “Lord, help me” was the only thing I could say.
The Lord knows our pain, Rom 8:26 “Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.“ I have seen deep despair… but the Lord stood with me and strengthened me!
And I don’t run… but I go clean my van… 😅😂😂being out of the house, and moving makes it all better! True, music always lifts me. The Lord will bring encouragement from sources you might have not even thought of, like He sent you to me when I was struggling, He is a loving and compassionate provider! 😊❤️🙌🏻
