Scripture: James 3
‘We all stumble in many ways.’
‘No human being can tame the tongue.’
‘Who is wise and understanding?’
Our earthly “wisdom” is often lead by bitterness and selfish ambition. This leads to words that harm, ‘disorder, and every vile practice.’
But wisdom from above is:
- Pure
- Peaceable
- Gentle
- Open to reason
- Full of mercy and good fruits
- Impartial
- Sincere
Let’s let those qualities lead our tongues.
18 And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
James 3:18
