Scripture: John 2 and 3
Jesus came. He grew. He gathered disciples. He began to reveal His glory. He foretold his death and resurrection. He preached that man needed to be born again.
He understood man’s flesh, and He understood man’s spirit. He understood the Spirit.
11 Truly, truly, I say to you, we speak of what we know, and bear witness to what we have seen, but you do not receive our testimony. 12 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how can you believe if I tell you heavenly things? 13 No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.
John 3:11-15
He knew He came to die. He did it for us. He loves us. He wants eternal life for us.
Believe in Him…be born again.
Journal: Write a prayer of thanksgiving for Jesus’ love. Thank Him for His sacrifice. Never take it for granted.
