Scripture: Luke 2

We know the first part of Luke 2 well: Jesus is born in a manger and the angels visit the shepherds. If we keep reading we meet Simeon, a righteous and devout man, and Anna the prophetess.
They had been waiting on the coming of Jesus, and unlike many people, they didn’t miss it.
Simeon told Mary,
“Behold, this child is appointed for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign that is opposed 35 (and a sword will pierce through your own soul also), so that thoughts from many hearts may be revealed.”
Luke 2:34-35
And Anna immediately started spreading the word:
38 And coming up at that very hour she began to give thanks to God and to speak of him to all who were waiting for the redemption of Jerusalem.
Luke 2:38
Let’s be like Simeon and Anna. Let’s continually look for the works of the Lord around us, let’s give thanks for them, and then let’s tell other people about them.
Journal: Take note of God’s gifts in your life; look for small blessings throughout the day.
Move: Do each group 2-3 times. Rest 1 minute between rounds:

Praise the Lord, and just show up.
