Daily Dig: 2/14/21

Scripture: Mark 2

When I read this chapter I couldn’t help but focus on the men opening the roof and lowering their friend down to the feet of Jesus.

I have wondered in the past if I would have gone to those length.

Recently, one of my friends discovered she has breast cancer; she’s the friend I thought of with this reading. Would I go to those length to get her healed?

YES!

So, how do I do that today? I’m dedicating myself to pray for her every day, multiple times a day. I may not be able to physically lay her at the feet of Jesus, but I can place her there spiritually.

And He’s still the same healer as He was in the days of Mark.

He’s the great physician. He heals the body and the soul. Therefore, not only can I bring my friend who’s physically sick, but I can also bring my friends who don’t know Him as their Savior.

Healing on earth and healing for eternity. Carry your friends to Jesus in prayer.
