Scripture: Psalm 2
People of the world are continually setting themselves against the Lord; or acting like He doesn’t exist and they have nothing to fear.
This psalm is a dire warning that God reigns, His Son reigns, and His purpose will be fulfilled.
He laughs at His enemies’ feeble attempts of glory.
He is to be feared, yet we can “rejoice with trembling” because He is our refuge for eternity!
Journal: Write a prayer submitting to the sovereignty of God, and a prayer of rejoicing that you can rest at peace in Him.
