Scripture: Luke 12

A good face can only cover a wicked heart for so long.
The Pharisees put on a good show but Jesus warned that their truth would be revealed.
So it is with us.
How do we combat this hypocrisy in our own lives?
Fear God.
5 But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has authority to cast into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him!
This is a healthy fear…not an anxious fear. We have no need for anxiety when we’re living in the fear of the Lord.
God provides for His own.
25 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? 26 If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest? 27 Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 28 But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith!

How much more will He do for us!
