Daily Dig: 11/10/20

Scripture: Matthew 11

5 the blind receive their sight and the lame walk, lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them.

6 And blessed is the one who is not offended by me.”

Miracles are done everyday. You just have to know where to look:

  • When I look at my children I see a miracle.
  • When I watch the sunrise and the sunset I see a miracle.
  • When I see my friends rebuild their crumbling marriage I see a miracle.
  • When I see men come out of the hospital when death or a lost limb was certain I see a miracle.
  • This list could go on and on and on…

One miracle that cannot be explained apart from Christ is a rested soul in the midst of the world’s chaos.

God does that.

29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Journal: Write your own list of miracles.
