Scripture: John 13:18-30

It’s hard to comprehend why Judas would betray Jesus. It’s a sad, sad story.
Part of the sadness is that “Jesus was troubled in His spirit.” The feelings of betrayal and rejection were certainly beginning to weigh Him down.
Jesus came to take our burdens, forgive our sins, and heal our brokenness. He did it willingly. Don’t deny Him or reject Him.
We may not be able to fully understand His plan, (Judas obviously didn’t understand) but we can hold on to the person of Jesus. We can believe that He lived, died, and rose again to save us. We can trust Him.
Stop trying to take matters into your own hands. His hands are the only ones that have already finished the work.
