Scripture: John 10
Jesus is our Good Shepherd.
Not only is He the Shepherd, He is also the door of the sheep:
I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.
Vs. 9
He wants good for us. He wants life abundant for us. Contrast this with the thief:

He wants this for us so badly that He sacrificed Himself for us.

As His sheep we have abundant life here on earth because He fulfills us. And this abundant life doesn’t end with death. It’s eternal:

That’s true security. He knows our names, we know His voice, and no one can take this relationship from us.
