Scripture: Luke 10

Action is important. The 72 were sent out on mission…going and working. The good Samaritan is a parable that praises the one who shows love through service. The Lord praises acts of mercy and kindness.
But when action is accompanied by anxiety and worry about temporal things it may be time to slow down and take a seat at the feet of Jesus.
Remember who you’re working for and remember the end goal. Let love and mercy flow from a pure, undistracted, heart.
Journal: Write a prayer asking for Jesus to help you keep first things first.
Move: Rest, recover, or repeat.
If you didn’t get that 5k done yesterday do it today.
Praise the Lord, and just show up.
