Scripture: Genesis 9

I’ve always thought it was interesting that the Lord says the rainbow will remind HIM of the covenant he made with Noah. Why does God need to be reminded? I don’t know.
I do know that when I see a rainbow in the clouds I can remember that He sees us, and He’s the perfect judge and creator: controller of the rains and the oceans and the floods and all of nature.
And I’m humbled.
Eternally grateful for His mercy that never gives us what we deserve and His grace that gives us what we most certainly do not deserve.
