Scripture: Romans 7
There’s a constant war between our flesh and our spirit. We want to do good but our flesh is weak.
Thankfully, we’re covered by the grace of God, and the blood Jesus Christ shed on the cross covers us.
He freed us from death and sin when He rose from the grave! He freed us so that we could live to serve Him…not because we have to, but because we want to.
We don’t have to earn His favor, but we live for Him because His Spirit lives in us. We don’t produce fruit for Him, we produce fruit because of Him…and then we give it all back to Him. It’s not for our glory, but His alone.
Journal: Write a prayer and thank the Lord for freedom to live in His grace.
