Scripture: Proverbs 6
Time for a self-check. Don’t automatically think of someone else’s sin when you read this list. Always come at scripture with a prayerful heart and ask the Lord to reveal any sin you may be holding within yourself.
16 There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are an abomination to him:
17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil,
19 a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers.
It’s easy to point fingers, but we’re all responsible for our own hearts and actions.
Choose God’s way…choose good.
And teach it to your children.
