Scripture: 1 Corinthians 4

Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

1 Corinthians 4:5

The writing goes on to warn us to not go beyond what the word of God says so that we won’t be “puffed up in favor of one against another.”

The world is full of controversy and disagreement. Some of it has purpose but much of it is meaningless.

Paul wants us to imitate him:

When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure; when slandered, we entreat…

1 Corinthians 4:12‭-‬13
  • Bless
  • Endure
  • Entreat [try to conciliate]

Speak truth to each other, and let your words be packed with the power of love and gentleness.

Journal: Write a prayer that your speech may be backed by the power of God.

Move: Long run day. I’m running a half marathon distance today…just for fun! Get out and go long today.

{Beginner’s run #3: Walk 5 minutes to warm-up, then run 3 minutes/walk 1 minute x4, then walk 5 minutes to cool-down.}

Praise the Lord, and just show up.
