Scripture: Mark 4
This chapter is filled with parables. Jesus is trying to paint a picture of the kingdom of God so that His followers can grasp the big picture of the Father’s plan.
He wants us to be part of that plan:
- Let your heart be good soil that receives the word and nourishes it.
- Let the light of the gospel shine in your life.
- Grow in your faith.
- Take rest in the shade of the Lord.
And do not be afraid.
40 He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?” 41 And they were filled with great fear and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
Journal: Write a prayer and ask the Lord to calm the storms in your life and in your mind.
