Now that we have the kitchen functional and slightly decorated…
We’re (or I should say IV and the boys) have moved upstairs to finish the fourth bedroom:
They’re almost ready to lay the carpet, and hopefully King and Duke will be able to move in soon.
We’re not sure if they’ll actually be able to sleep up there for a while though as it’s not insulated, and just a little bit cold.
Thankfully IV was able to open the fireplace in the living room and make it work!
Now we just need to pretty things up. I think we’re going to mount the TV above the mantle. Outlets are sparse in an old house though so we’ll see how it goes.
I’m ready for everything to have a place and finally settle in nice and cozy.
I got one step closer to that goal in the laundry room…
Next week I hope to start on the other half of the room.
One day at a time, one project at a time…
We definitely won’t be bored anytime soon.
