I’m doing the happy dance!
The dishwasher isn’t hooked up yet because we’ve had a hard time finding the 90° drain hose connector we need, but I’m just so thankful to have a sink that I won’t mind washing dishes by hand for a bit longer!
What do you think of that hutch? I’ve got a poll going on my Instagram story asking whether I should paint it to match my cabinets.
I think I’ll paint the back of it but leave the rest…we’ll see. Leave a comment if you have any good ideas.
We also got this new microwave from our friends the Swanns;
We’d planned to hang it above our stove but since we don’t have an upper cabinet to attach it to we found it a cozy home right there on my yardsale baker’s rack.
“That’ll do, pig. That’ll do.”

I did my share of the work today in the laundry room:
Next, I have to grout that section so we can move the appliances over, and then repeat the process on the other half of the room.
I’m tired just thinking about it, but I’m thankful to be able to do it!
And I’m thankful we were able to end this very productive Sunday with a bonfire for the kids and friends:
I love fall in the country!
