Pressing Pause

We let our little farmhouse have a small rest from the work while we drove up to Tennessee to see the total eclipse with my family.

But before we left we spent a couple of good days knocking out some of the to-do list in the kitchen. 

I peeled all the wallpaper and started painting:

The next day, I started painting.

I got the trim finished, and IV came back around to finish the floor, work on the beams, and patch up some holes in the wall.  There’s plenty more to do…

Now we’re to the point of more painting and all that sanding (plus a few more holes to patch).:

IV will be busy with work all week so paint, paint, paint is what you’ll see next go around.

Thankfully, at this point I’m highly motivated, because washing dishes in a bathtub is only fun the first time…

Praise the Lord for a bathtub. 😊
