The men folk had a productive afternoon today.
Granddaddy came out and helped IV lay the first of the floor in the new bathroom:
Meanwhile, Richard roughed in the wiring for the upstairs room in a snap, and then went to work tearing out this spot of rotten floor in the kitchen:
While tearing out part of the wall he uncovered this newspaper a little older than Poppy 😉:
Pretty cool.
{He also found a Cool Whip container about as old…it was called “La Creme” back then (or something like that).}
I worked the whole time I was there but it’s slow progress on peeling that wallpaper.
I’ll get there…eventually.
